Adult Craft Night

Our next adult craft night will take place on Thursday, December 20 at 6:30 pm. Snow globe jars. Fill them with candy and other goodies. This program is full. Please call to be added to the waitlist.



Music Trivia Night: The Decades

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of competitive music trivia and fun.

Bring your friends and work as a team or join other participants to test your knowledge, speed, and skill of music trivia throughout the decades. Trivia will include questions about music from the 1960s-1990s. Sample trivia categories include: correct the lyrics, name that tune, iconic fashion idols, and much more.

Registration is required for this event.

Vinyl Listening Party

Adults invited to bring their favorite records and join Reed Memorial Library for a vinyl listening party on Tuesday, July 17, at 6:30 p.m. Relive your favorite songs, discuss your favorite album artwork, and listen to your favorite LP or 45 RPM on our turntable. Those without a vinyl to bring may also select one from an assorted collected to play.

Portraying the Life of Eleanor Roosevelt

Saturday, April 28

This historical program will depict the life of the former First Lady, portrayed by Ruth Pangrace. Pangrace is a member of Women in History, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and dramatic re-creation of lives of notable women in U.S. History. This historical portrayal will be open to the public and is a must-see even for any history fan.

DIY Book Safes

Adults are invited to Reed Memorial Library on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. to learn how to make their own book safes.
Participants will create a book safe that may be used for decorative purposes, or to conceal small items on a bookshelf. All supplies will be provided.
Registration is required and space is limited.

HTML Basics Class

Saturday, April 28
2:00 p.m.

Participants will learn basic HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) tags and practice using them to create a simple website. Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required. No previous experience using HTML is required. Registration is required and space is limited.

Mushrooms and More: Wild Spring Edibles

Saturday, April 7
12:00 p.m.

Don King (The Mushroom Hunter) will discuss his history of mushroom hunting, provide an overview of the activity, and share samples of wild spring edible mushrooms found in the area. Don is an artist, chef, and wild food enthusiast. For nearly 15 years, he has collected local wild mushrooms and other edibles, as well as running mushroom hunts and camps. He appears several times per year on Fox 8's New Day Cleveland where he talks about foraging in Ohio and cooks mushroom-infused dishes. No registration required.
